아우로라가 베로니카의 말을 자르며 말했다. “그럼, 수명이 다할 때쯤, 글레이시아를 재물로 우리의 온기를 흡수한 건가?”
베로니카가 잠깐 생각을 하더니 이어서 답했다. “맞아. 너희들이 알아채고 오팔을 파괴하는 순간 모든 게 어그러졌겠지만. 다행히도 글레이시아 도박은 성공이야. 나의 글레이시아를 잘 지켜줘서 고마워 아우로라.”
그때, 타닥… 타닥… 다급하게 얼음궁전의 계단을 오르는 소리가 들렸다.
“여기… 여기가! 글레이시아의 여왕님이 계시는 곳이 맞을까요!” 두 여왕은 갑자기 문을 열고 난입한 불청객 설아를 멍하니 바라보았다.
문득 정신을 차린 아우로라는 설아에게 외쳤다. “거기 너! 여기는 내가 막을 테니 어떻게든 방법을 찾아 과거로 돌아가! 그리고 과거의 나를 만나게 되면 오팔을 반드시 부수라고 말해!”
베로니카는 당황한 설아를 보고 말했다. “흐음…? 과연 가능할까? 네가 보기엔 나와 아우로라, 흑과 백 어디가 이길 것 같니? 승부가 어떻게 될지는 아우로라의 말대로 한 번 가서 알아보렴!”
설아는 갑자기 자신에게 아우로라가 맡긴 임무에 당황하였지만, 처음 여행을 떠난 목적인 글레이시아를 위해서 과거로 돌아가기 위해 자신이 알고 있는 유일한 과학자인 다나를 찾아서 다시 발걸음을 돌려 뛰어 내려갔다.

Veronica yang dahulu kala menguasai Glacia yang dihujani badai salju itu perlahan berbalik badan lalu berkata kepada Aurora, “Sudah lama tidak berjumpa, Aurora? Tidak bisakah kau menyambutku dengan lebih gembira?”
Tanpa mendengarkan Veronica, Aurora bertanya balik, “Tetapi…? Bagaimana bisa kau muncul kembali…?”
Veronica tertawa mendengar pertanyaan Aurora, setelah itu ia menenangkan diri dan menjawab, “Hmm… Aku mencoba bertaruh sedikit. Opal ini punya kemampuan untuk menyerap kehangatan. Mungkin Glacia membeku sejak aku memindahtangankan Opalnya kepadamu…”
Aurora memotong ucapan Veronica, “Kalau begitu, pada akhirnya, apakah Opal ini akan menyerap kehangatan kita dengan Glacia sebagai harta bendanya?”
Veronica menjawab setelah berpikir sejenak “Benar. Saat kalian mengetahuinya lalu menghancurkan Opal itu, semuanya akan menjadi kacau. Untungnya aku berhasil pada taruhan atas Glacia. Terima kasih sudah menjaga Glacia untukku, Aurora.”
Saat itu, suara derap kaki yang tergesa-gesa menaiki tangga Istana Es terdengar.
“Apakah disini! Benarkah ini tempat dimana Ratu Glacia berada?!” kedua Ratu menatap kosong Seol-Ah, si tamu tak diundang yang menerobos masuk.
Aurora yang kembali sadar berteriak kepada Seol-Ah, “Kau yang disana! Aku akan menahannya di sini, bagaimanapun caranya kembalilah ke masa lalu! Lalu apabila kau bertemu denganku di masa lalu, pastikan untuk menyuruhnya untuk menghancurkan Opalnya!”
Veronica berkata kepada Seol-Ah yang bingung. “Hmm…? Apakah mungkin? Menurutmu, aku dan Aurora, hitam atau putih, siapa yang akan menang? Pergilah dan cari tahu bagaimana pertarungan itu berlangsung!”
Walau Seol-Ah kebingungan karena tugas yang mendadak diberikan padanya, demi Glacia yang menjadi tujuan perjalanan pertamanya, ia kembali pergi berlari untuk mencari satu-satunya ilmuwan yang ia ketahui, Dana, agar bisa pergi ke masa lalu.
